About Qalam Works

A professional digital workspace for Urdu writing, editing, and publication preparation.

Qalam Works is built to serve writers, translators, researchers, publishers, and academic institutions who work seriously with Urdu documents. Our tools focus on accuracy, Unicode consistency, clean typography, and publication-quality output.

Most tools process your text in the browser, and we do not store your documents. Document Studio PDF export uses a server route only to generate the file you request. We believe professional Urdu publishing deserves software built specifically for it, not adapted from tools designed primarily for English.

Language Services

In addition to our self-service tools, Qalam Works offers professional language services including translation (Urdu, English, Arabic, Persian), Urdu proofreading and editing, and document formatting for publication.
